Lara Saab is is a cultural practitioner based in Beirut, Lebanon.

Her work draws from environmental, pedagogical, and speculative studies examining how humans and non-humans develop and adapt beyond human design and imagination; through stories featuring maguey plant cyborgs, a portal-opening ocean rock, and a haunted washing machine. These tales take on multiple forms, such as landscapes, journals, audio, video and performance, and poetry.

Saab is a founding member of Timetides Cooperative, the coordinator of the Home Workspace Program at Ashkal Alwan, and holds an MFA in Social Documentation from the University of California, Santa Cruz, as well as a BA in Studio Arts from the American University of Beirut.
